I'm afraid you are right. I heard him on FoxNewsSunday and he was pretty convincing. BUT, his country needs him!
He would provide the continuity that we need in both foreign and domestic policy, IMHO.
The first time I saw Dick Cheney in person was at a campaign speech during the 2000 election.
Both my wife and I left the event wondering if perhaps the wrong name was on top of the ticket!
Dick's a wonderful person and a great American. As much as I'd like to see him stay in an important leadership role, the guy deserves and has earned his retirement.
America is truly blessed with the leadership that we currently have.
