We respectfully ask your office to look into how a partisan political organization . . . landed a coveted spot in the White House press corps.I agree. CBS, NBC, ABC, CNN, the LA Times and the NYTimes should be immediately eliminated from the White House Press Corps.

And I ask why Helen Thomas is credentialed.

First I've heard of this *emerging scandal*. I must have been in a cave, last week.

Well - that is the difference between Republicans and Democrats. We have to pay the media to get our message across. The dems don't - the media recites their talking points for free.

I agree with Rep. Slaughter. As a matter of fact, I think the Bush Administration should engage in a comprehensive check of ALL White House reporters and make the results known to the public.

"According to several credible reports, "Mr. Gannon" has been repeatedly credentialed as a member of the White House press corps by your office and has been regularly called upon in White House press briefings by your Press Secretary Scott McClellan, despite the fact evidence shows that "Mr. Gannon" is a Republican political operative, uses a false name, has phony or questionable journalistic credentials, is known for plagiarizing much of the "news" he reports, and according to several web reports, may have ties to the promotion of the prostitution of military personnel. WTF? These are serious charges and they are made in the typically Dem infantile, sophomoric fashion. If anything there is not true this guy has certain grounds to take action. "Prostitution of Military"? What is that.

Louise, nobody ever questioned the legitimacy of CNN when Clinton was in the White House. That was an entire company full of Democrat political operatives.

...regarding James "JD" Guckert (AKA Jeff Gannon)....This appears to be identical syntax to that used in a troll's post on an earlier thread. Hmmm.

Hmmmm? Why are the ultra lefties so up in arms over Jeff Gannon? Because Rush keeps talking about him.
Also .. the WH bunch are a little nervous that people are going to get in there who are going to actually ask the President intelligent questions .. which shows them up .. because none of their questions are intelligent.
It's like Rush has been saying. For years the lefty media was never challenged on what they said .. and all of a sudden they are being held accountable for their inane questions. It's got to smart a lot.

In light of the mounting evidence that your Administration has, on several occasions, paid members of the media to advocate in favor of Administration policies
on several occasions???
Maybe I'm outta the loop on this but, other than Armstrong Williams, can someone tell who this administration paid to advocate in favor of it's policies?

And the drum beats escalate.
Hmmm... they may nab Gannon, but considering we have Dan Rather's scalp, and perhaps Eason Jordan's on the way.... I say, at the veryvery least, advantage New Media.

This is no more than a naked attempt by the Dems to define the "media." Anyone not in the MSM club=partisan and not credentialed. Sorry Dems, not gonna work. The cats out of the bag, the people don't trust the MSM plain and simple.
