We respectfully ask your office to look into how a partisan political organization . . . landed a coveted spot in the White House press corps.I agree. CBS, NBC, ABC, CNN, the LA Times and the NYTimes should be immediately eliminated from the White House Press Corps.

Oh, waah.
And you're exactly right. If Gannon is going to be fingered, EVERY presstitute should be examined.
DANG I hope the WH is aggressive on this. It's a PERFECT moment for it, given Rathergate and Toysoldiergate and Easongate.

Very confusing day. So is Jeff Gannon his real name or not?

Well, Congresswoman Slaughter was just on CNN with Anderson Cooper. She sounds like a typical New York Democrat politician - inarticulate and short on facts.
This was part of a 5-minute segment on the Gannon "controversy", which included a report from Kathleen Koch. Cooper was fairly argumentative with her (apologizing for arguing with her because the White House and Talon News refused to go on his show). Slaughter claimed Gannon was "part of the pattern of Armstrong Williams, and three or four others, amid who knows how many, who have been paid to shill for this White House". Slaughter also claimed that according to the Washington Post, Gannon was "the only person known to have access to a CIA secret document about the case of Valerie Plame" and claimed "this shows to me that this is a man who has extraordinary good White House credentials".
Congresswoman Slaughter also said she thinks Gannon was a plant by the White House.
