That's one reason conservatives have nothing to fear from Hillary Clinton, he assured those on hand. That's one area I have to disagree. Hillary knows what it takes to win and is willing to do it. Go to Church, moderate her views on abortion and gay marriage, be a military hawk, and a budget cutter. If Hillary ran as Hillary, Rush is right, she would have no chance. But Hillary will be running as a Bush-lite candidate.

I kinda agree with you....plus she'll run with Richardson of New Mexico.....a Hispanic and a woman......both acting like they are "moderates."

If Hillary ran as Hillary, Rush is right, she would have no chance. But Hillary will be running as a Bush-lite candidate. She's despised by both men and women alike, and is incapable of a single spontaneous sentence. In unscripted moments, she makes a fool of herself, and is as convincing as a circus barker. Shrillary is the greatest fundraising tool we have.

If the sKerry campaign taught us anything, it is that, come time, the 'rats will faithfully line up to vote, even if it is for a complete idiot.
No one liked sKerry, yet they voted for him.
No one likes sHrillary, but they will line up to vote for her when the time comes.
Our job is to:
1. Empower and encourage in order to enlarge our base.
2. Discourage and eliminate to shrink their base.
By bringing people "into the fold", and encouraging people to vote conservatively we strengthen our ranks. Crucial to this is to support quality candidates (and walk away from weak ones).
We discourage libs when we point out the utter folly of their viewpoint. When we artfully and convincingly contrast our principles and policies, and then show them how vacant their leaders' words are, they lose heart.
If we continue to insist on legal elections (instead of the evasive "fair" ones) we cull the illegal votes that have robbed us all to many times of our deserved victories.
I would remind you of Hugh Hewitt's words: "If it isn't close, they can't cheat"

"But Hillary will be running as a Bush-lite candidate."Maybe only during the primaries or the general election but not both. She's gonna have to gather up her base sooner or later. Of course Kerry tried the same thing and look at where that got him.

You are correct. She did it with the Senate run, with all her stinking baggage. "Nothing to fear" - those are over-confident words of doom. However, I will go door to door to help defeat her.

And .. to add to your list of things - she's to the right on immigration.
Even after her husband did all kinds of illegal stuff to allow illegals to vote for him - here she is supporting stronger border control.
Rush is correct - this could cause a 3rd party - just over the border issue. Sadly .. this was how Perot got his group going and I can see Hillary profiting from such a move by the repubs - just like Bill did.

Hillary has been faking moderation to position herself for a run.
I hope Rudy takes her out in 2006 and that there are good videos around of her communist statements, like "WE ARE GOING TO TAKE THINGS FROM YOU".

I think she can win, but it'll have to be the same way her husband won the first time, and that's with a 3rd person in the mix.
Nearly everyone claims that clinton's the greatest politician since Jefferson, but that's not true. Sure he grew confident while in office, but who, with the exception of the paranoid Nixon, doesn't?
When clinton first exposed himself to the franchised, 6 out of 10 people didn't vote for him. So, his appeal was quite a bit smaller than average. And mrs. clinton has an additional problem: the electoral college, and she knows it, because after the election of '00 when gore lost, and talk of eliminating the electoral college ensued, she jumped on the band wagon immediately. She's an electoral college wall flower, IMO.
