Whatever happened to the DOW hitting 6000, like you predicted?

LOL! I'm fully invested now, still reaping benefits from the Clinton-Gore prosperity that has lasted 4+ years past the FL debacle.

BTW, whatever happened to predictions by GOP media whores that the Dow would hit 12,500 by December 31, 2002? My experience is you can't go broke by betting against predictions inspired by Repukie politicians.

Don't know what happened to other people's predictions, but the last time I posted to you, I thought I was being optimistic to predict 9000 before the Bush reelection. (The Dow was about 7500 at the time.) I also predicted a pickup of one congressional seat for each hundred points above 9000.

So I was off on the congressional pickup, but I didn't anticipate the anti-war venom exuded by the dems. I'd say the dems are trying to fill an inside straight on this one. It's tough to get a majority when your are rooting for facists and comparing them to Minutemen.

LOL!!!! That is a priceless quote.

My only surprise is that you didn't try to claim Jimmuh Carter was responsible for the current prosperity. After all, makes about as much sense.

A little thing like 9/11 is what happened to those predictions. You're a sad case.

All predictions about where the Dow will be a year from are swamp gas.

You rewrite history at every turn.

The Dow tanked month after month under clinton. I bought most of my stocks at bargain basement prices. The only thing that held the market afloat was the Dot com Bubble and
the bail out of one of the huge leverage funds.

The Dot Com bubble burst before Bush was inagurated.

Clinton did nothing to support the economy. The good enconomy he happened to preside over was due the the Ronald Regan tax cuts.

The recession was the Clinton recession.
