Your post didn't identify any ad hominem attack by MurryMom against a person who posted here on FR.

I believe I've seen those posts in the past.

No matter. Keep posting. Your comments help make the case for electing Republican/Conservative candidates quite well.

Faster thatn you can say "George Orwell", our own Jeff Gannon has left the GOPUSA website. You don't believe in conspiracy theories, do you, SM?

---

usually no. and that also includes ones that freepers tend to spread as well. though this one has me a bit puzzled frankly. it seems pretty intriguing and there is a part of me that hopes to god it isn't what i think it is.

" The media's trying to turn this into "the White House wants to control the message!"" Exactly, which is why this whole thing is so idiotic. Talon News is a tiny little news outlet 99.9% of Americans have never heard of. How in God's name can they possible be used to "control the news". I wish someone on the left can explain that.

*******************************************

It doesn't take someone on the left. I'm solidly on the right and I can see it. Your argument that Talon has no influence falls apart once a Talon "reporter" shows up with the credentials and the access to the WH(and a "reporter" not even using his real name - why is that and do you really think that the Secret Service just missed that little fact?}. These sessions get full media coverage and therefore so do the "reporter's" questions. If this liar is a ringer then there is no great leap of logic to think that someone who let him in is trying to control the message.

This stinks and the uncovering of it just shows how stupid and how disrespectful of our intelligence our own governors can be. If this were a Clinton years deal from the left freepers would be screaming for heads to roll. The standard is the same, for some of us anyway.

Hey Jeff...if you removed yourself from the scene because your truth was found out to be different from your presentation then you can't get out fast enough for me. If the rumors are wrong then why leave? Why not stay and fight?

How many of these ringers do you rightwingers have stored in your basement? Yesterday's WH gaggle reveals that several other trolls showed up to take the spot usually reserved for "Jeff Gannon" or whatever his name really is.

Precisely.

The White House gets to choose the press corps.

Suck on that.

Who says the Secret Service didn't know his real name? And no, I don't think a no-name news outfit like Talon News can be used to "control the message".

If the SS did know his name why allow ID issued under a false one? Asking questions at WH Press Conferences does influence the news regardless of who is doing the asking. This stinks and if it happened during the Clinton years I bet you'd have a different view.

"If the SS did know his name why allow ID issued under a false one?"

Maybe he asked them for them to issue an ID under his alias.

"Asking questions at WH Press Conferences does influence the news regardless of who is doing the asking."

Gannon wasn't the only one asking questions. If he goes because of something this contrived, then so should people like Helen Thomas. What's more, you could also say that NOT asking some questions influences the news. Gannon asked questions other reporters shunned away from. Gannon by his lonesome self had little impact on the news.

"This stinks and if it happened during the Clinton years I bet you'd have a different view."

If Clinton ever appointed a reporter to the WH press corp because of his conservative views, I would have been pleasantly surprised. Clinton did not have to appoint Democrat partisans though. He had a room full of them already.

I'd like to see the names of the ones the Clinton administration paid.

How many folks get access to the WH under assumed names? Why would anyone with nothing to hide seek such access? How many aliases do you, or anyone you trust use? I think this stinks and was stupid. You're ok with it, but then you're trippin.
