Jeff Gannon

A Voice of the New Media

The voice goes silent.

Because of the attention being paid to me I find it is no longer possible to effectively be a reporter for Talon News. In consideration of the welfare of me and my family I have decided to return to private life.

Thank you to all those who supported me.

omg. I really went stupid there.. this is the same David Brock who lied about The American Spectator and Emmett Tyrrell. Yes, Brock is gay, or bi, or even left-handed. I think.. I was thinking of someone else.. nonetheless, I standby my points. He's playing point-man. Brock, when he pulled that attack on Am Spec solidified for me why certain high-security-access credentials should be in question when the applicant is gay. Some folks just can't even look at alcohol without taking a swig; same holds true for some gays.. it's that addictive thing. Like the judge and his "whooshing" machine. Don't libs know, he could go schizzy on them, too? Or do they have really big photos of him on file, already?

Liberals demand people stop "addictive behavior" like uh, smoking. But a sexual addiction is something they only love and respect...

They call it a "lifestyle". I've met alkies who claim boozing in their life-style too... Insert Rodney Dangerfield line here: Just can't get no respect.

Yes, I saw that the attack on Blankley has already started. Must be in their 'brown book'..

The problem with 'gay marriage' as a theme of the DNC, is that it won them nothing. The Mary Cheney incidents proved that both parties rejected playing that game. So while it *may* be the only issue (I don't know...) that can corral all their splintered interests to focus, most of them are one issue voters, and you better pick theirs. Evidence Hillary and abortion the other day.. MoveOn had a fit. Sooooo... what may be emerging, is the left using the Gay (and various other) activist wings with their established shills in the media and blogging machines, until they no longer need them... just like they did to JesseJackson et. al. They will NOT have a seat at the DNC table *ever*, no matter what promises are made to them. Again, using history as our guide, where have Democrats ever trusted blacks in high profile, powerful positions?? None. Interesting discussion.. Wonder how much money the left can soak from each group to stay afloat. Uncle George Soros may have to dig an inch deeper.

Well... go to the National Review "Corner". A Jonah comment -- he links to the stories. That might help you tremendously. And do take note -- the photo of Jeff in comparison to the photo of "alleged" Jeff -- they aren't the same guy.

but I kinda miss some of the fun threads that had music embedded in 'em. Those were a hoot!

The DITHF thread had "Gary Owens" playing, IIRC.

I never ran across one of those, oddly enough.

The one I can recollect most vividly was one of the first HTML tutorial threads.
(Even before "HTML Bootcamp" got started.)
It had circus music going on in the background!
The dang thing was so hilarious it STILL puts a big grin on my face!
But many FReepers had bandwidth and conflict issues with that html command, so it was one of the first to be filtered out by the posting routine.

I see what you are saying. However, that gay/dems don't operate the same way others do: Meaning... they do a tack, position, push forward approach. The Gay lobby has gotten more people to acknowledge "domestic unions". That is what they consider a major success, and when looking at the broader picture -- they are right. So although the "gay marriage" issue didn't specifically help them in this last election, they are counting upon the "kindness" of strangers to help them end up at their finish line of "gay marriage". And why this issue? It will really screw up international communications, trade, in-country laws. It will create violent social upheaval in all institutes. This is not what they say they are after -- they say they are after "equality". Yeah, leveling all nations with one fell swoop, IMHO.

I look at it this way: The party that promote abortions has no limits on who they'd abort. Meaning, they'll abort their own malcontents (or out them) any bit as much as they will political opponents.

And you are quite right, Dems have NOT promoted minorities despite all the rhetoric. Therefore, yours:

what may be emerging, is the left using the Gay (and various other) activist wings with their established shills in the media and blogging machines, until they no longer need them... just like they did to JesseJackson et. al.

is bang on target. Couple this with Hillary's: I'm going to take something (away) from you for the common good.

I agree with you -- it's a losing strategy. It's akin to cutting off your own legs.

Ignoring the direct quote I provided right from the President.

My source is direct, yours is not.

You prefer to believe what you want just because you want to. The rest of us will deal with what is (I hope you don't need a dictionary for that word like some on your side).
