Jeff Gannon
A Voice of the New Media
The voice goes silent.
Because of the attention being paid to me I find it is no longer possible to effectively be a reporter for Talon News. In consideration of the welfare of me and my family I have decided to return to private life.
Thank you to all those who supported me.
You mean like yesterday's story that Karl Rove was going to be over the National Security Council? Is that what you call accurate?
Do you know it was reported as FACT by Peter Jennings and Terry Moran? Do you know the reporter who first reported it NEVER revised her story?
Why aren't you over on THOSE threads posting that boilerplate pap?
Try to remmeber where you are; we don't need YOU to tell us about accuracy in the media.
what's your question...
I think there are a ton of links about the Rush limbaugh as a source already up here...
what's the next question?
The mistake in question was treating something that Rush said regarding a "soup line" quote from Harry Reid without fact-checking it.
Regarding the rest of the story about Gannon, I will wait to see what shakes out.
Go Away Mom!
I think they are just trying to so seriously discredit Jeff Gannon and intimidate him that he can't come back.
And it's a shot across the bow to others who may follow him. The MSM isn't going to give up its franchise without a fight. They've become like the Mafia.
Then, during President Bush (news - web sites)'s televised press conference on Jan. 26, the president called on him for a question, bypassing dozens of far more experienced reporters.
Making it sound like right off the bat President Bush went looking for softballs. As usual, the pseudo journalists are wrong.
Here is the actual Press Conference:
President Holds Press Conference
January 26, 2005
It is clear President Bush didn't "bypass" anybody.
They "goof" and its gone in 24 hours a conservative "goofs" it lives forever in thier eyes...Thats why we are so needed!!
Thanks for posting that reminder of the duplicity of Billy Blythe.
Link? Source?
And I am SURE that you realize that since you made such a big deal out of Jeff Gannon using a radio host as a source, you won't be telling us you "heard" it somewhere.
Back up your statement or stop wasting our time.
This morning right after Fox&Friends..the lead story was Rove's new job...as of 2 hours ago, Fox was still reporting it..
the financial times
http://news.ft.com/cms/s/7fd51392-791f-11d9-89c5-00000e2511c8.html
the current "PR" budget had doubled at a time when everything else is shrinking ..that is why this story Pees some people off... a blatant attempt to confuse reality with perception of what is going on..
only with our current failed media system could someone who has expanded entitlement government programs at a record pace and amount and someone who proposes a deficit that increase each year (yes this one too) be called conservative...
I guess someone will have to explain how not being able to balance a budget and increase entitlement spending is conservative cause I don't get it..
ps whatever happened to the amendment on gay marriage?
I've asked you at least 3 times to state if you believe that ABC, NBC, CBC and CNN should also lose their WH press credentials since they reported a false story yesterday.
It's a simple question. But you seem strangly unable to answer it. For over 1.5 hours now.
Right now I consider you a troll.
rove has a new job as "Deputy Chief" ... this is accurate
this historically is simply a policy position not a strictly political one..
while the 2 are clearly related this is a shift in historical tone.
It's not that he has a new title; it's that yesterday it was reported that he was going to be OVER all three of those councils, not just the coordinator.
The first reports were that he was going to be OVER the National Security Council, etc.; that's what caused Terry McAuliffe to go off halfcocked.
Exactly. And it's pointless to complain about a double standard, especially when the MSM offers such a target-rich environment.
More two-step.
I suspect we'll be seeing Mr. Gannon in another venue before too long...MUD
There is a certain enjoyment that comes from playing with her posts, that's true.
