And yet she had time to talk with the president too!

I admit I don't know anything about this whole situation but on the face of it I'd be interested in what her three jobs are. What combination of 3 occupations cannot support this family? My grandfathers on both sides had 7 children and supported them with one job each while my grandmothers stayed home. They also fought WWII and one was a POW for a few years.
I agree with above about what the liberals "see what you have to do to get by" will likely say, but I'm wondering where planned parenthood was in all this. With her three jobs she couldn't afford contraception? And why is it that the exception to the rule, always dictates the law?

It said she was divorced.

My husband works three jobs. One full time, one part time and one side job. Planned Parenthood has nothing to do with it. It's called personal responsibilty. Your comment was asinine.

In the 1940's and 50's it was possible to raise a family of 7 on one middle-class salary. It is not possible today.

No. 1 That was a time of "one job" supported a family - that time has been long gone, for the most part

No,2 The 'grandmothers' stayed home - i.e., no monstrous day care costs...

I raised 4 on my own - and don't give me your c*ap about birth control - I didn't PLAN on finding myself on my own, years after my last one was born. Life happens. We are not all as lucky - or smart - as you obviously are.

Many women's jobs STILL do not pay equal - and day care is outrageous, so what even a single mother makes, she has to make an extra $100+ a WEEK to cover day care.

I drove an early morning school bus run, then managed a furniture store, did bookkeeping for another business and worked 2 nights and Saturdays in Macy's - to keep a roof over our heads and food on the table.

thank your lucky stars you didn't have to face the same sort of situation...

Damn trollop. Doesn't she know politics are only for the intellectuals! Fire the broad. Better yet, get her a fourth job.

Did you actually ponder the above statement?

What combination of 3 occupations cannot support this family?

Most low-income jobs. She may only have the skills to get low-income. If she's working her a$$ off to pay the bills, she aint got time to go back to school and become a DR or lawyer. BTW - If she is working three jobs a $7 an hour. It's still not the same as making $21 an hour. There is only so many usable hours in the day. It's the real world.

With her three jobs she couldn't afford contraception?

Only the well-off should have children? I'm not asking you or the state to pay for the children, but don't deny her the right to bear children, because you think she can't afford it.

For someone who admits that he knows nothing, you make an awful lot of assumtions. Bad ones at that.

First, she's a divorced mother of three. If one is to assume anything, it would be that all three of her children were born in wedlock and prior to the divorce. Second, she says that she has a special needs child. I can't imagine that medical care for that child would be cheap, especially nowadays.

Perhaps you would advocate eugenics for both the child and the mother so they can't reproduce? Of course, nowadays Planned Parenthood supports the "new eugenics" where "defective" babies are murdered in the womb.
