I was rather surprised that Kerry got as many votes as he did. Kerry came out of the woodwork, I wonder how many of those that voted for him, had heard of him before he campaigned. He barely attended his senate responsibility.

The people that voted for skerry were just voting AGAINST Bush. They would have voted for Bullwinkle if he'd been running.

I sincerely believe that people were not voting FOR John Kerry; they were voting AGAINST George Bush. The hatred for Bush runs incredibly deep. Every single Dem friend I have said they were voting against Bush, not for Kerry. (And Kerry won Wisconsin, barely.)

Luckily, Republicans prevailed. And I thank God every day for President Bush's re-election. I don't even want to begin to think about how things would be today had Kerry won. Or Algore in 2000. *SHIVER*
