Favorite si-fi movies..
20 MILLION MILES TO EARTH
IT CAME FROM BENEATH THE SEA
and various other early movies with Ray Haryhussen special effects.
and of course, the origional FRANKENSTEIN.
And some film about a giant octopus attacking San Fransisco.

No tv si fi movies for me. Tv is booring and you know the main actors will survive to make another show.

My own personal favorite has to be The Twilight Zone. I remember when I was a kid in San Diego I would try to watch it when it was on KTLA. I also think that Night Gallery is a very underrated series. And I happen to like the new Battlestar Galactica; I think Adama is a very Bush-esque character even though Edward James Olmos is a lib.

Really enjoying the latest version of Battlestar Galactica. I'm surprised at how well it's gone so far.

But Forbidden Planet is still the one. The once and future king.

Today's FEEBLE

YOKE :

It's hard being human. Look at the prototypes-Adam & Eve. That's a lot of pressure being the first people. You make one mistake, *everybody* hears about it.

You're constantly answering embarrassing questions about how you messed up; "Okay for the five millionith time, I was sitting around, minding my own business, and she goes... 'Want a bite?'"

Good morning Everyone. Good morning to our

Military, our Allies and their families.

Thanks DivaBetsy and Canteen Slacker for opening the doors to the Canteen this morning. Well, I see that "What's Your Favorite...." is still popular as ever! I must be outta my mind to contribute an idea that is so popular that it is going to take me 4-ever to catch up to the end! And, waaaaaa.......there's some visitors here that I must give an official welcome to. So........watch out gang and forgive me if I miss a personal to you this morning. The Welcome Guy is going to come through fast and furious. If I've given you a welcome before, please excuse me for the double-post. But, since I am going to run through quickly, I might not remember see you here before.

Gee, I am not even prepared to list my favorites yet. But, after I get caught up, I'll make a list and let you know.

Now remember, the Canteen is always

So, come on in and sit for a while. There's alway plenty of coffee, pancakes, conversation, silliness, and plain old BS.
