He opens his eyes wide and emits a penetrating glare of hate and anger that can strike fear into grown men. But his eyes also betray the look of someone suffering inside.

Mexico is not safe. I'd think twice before going there.

I'm afraid that's the only solution. If he's this hard and mean at 14, what are the chances he's going to grow up and become a law-abiding citizen? Just about zero, I'd say.
Any where in Mexico Gringos are victims and it is never reported unless someone makes a big stink on this side of the border - wives raped in front of their husbands, abductions, robberies etc. And that is just the government "officials". The gangs are even nastier.
You might consider staying out of the Acapulco airport. And the police are all on strike in Cancun.

The dems in the US Congress are pushing legislation that would give Mexicans time off WITH pay to go back to Mexico for at least 6 days of combat with other gangs every year. It is part of W's "Smooching With Fox" program. As dumb as this program sounds, it is no worse than any other aspect of W's immigrantion thinking!
