The preparatory meeting ahead of Prime Minister Ariel Sharons meeting with Palestinian Authority Chairman Mahmud Abbas on Tuesday, February 8, 2005, at Sharm el-Sheikh, was held on Saturday evening (Febraury 5). Dov Weisglass, Amos Gilad, Shalom Turgeman and Asaf Shariv attended for the Israeli side. Saeb Erekat, Hassan Abu Libdeh and Muhammad Dahlan attended for the Palestinian side. The meeting, which was good, dealt with the preparations for Tuesdays meeting; considerable progress was achieved. On the security prisoners issue, it was agreed that a joint committee to examine the issue would be established after Tuesdays meeting. The final meeting to coordinate procedures for Tuesdays event will be held tomorrow (Monday), February 7, 2005. Preparatory meeting ahead of Sharm el-Sheikh Summit
Weisglass & Dahlan to Meet Again Tonight

(IsraelNN.com) PA sources report that Dov Weisglass and Mohammed Dahlan will be meeting once again tonight to review positions and map out last-minute details ahead of Tuesdays Sharm el-Sheikh Summit.
