Should Iman Foroutan go back to Iran one day, he better not make it one day soon. He is in big trouble. He has spoiled Death to America Day.
At least Foroutan believes that is what he has ruined. Our story begins with an invitation that quietly arrived in some homes and offices around the nation's capital last month from what is called the "Iranian Interests Section," a diplomatic fiction created inside the Pakistani Embassy to pretend that the United States and Iran have nothing official to do with each other while their diplomats lunch with ours.

The Iranian government had booked the use of the Bethesda Marriot . Thanks to the effors of Dr. Foroutan the Marriot cancelled the booking. I ownder if the chain will get any legal hassles for the cancellation.

Death to America Day.
What'll I wear? I haven't gotten any cards! I wish people would let me know when these holidays are coming up so I can prepare.

This reminds me-- did anybody hear how successful 'Not One Damn Dime Day' was? I'd hate to think there was a financial collapse and I missed it...

The funny thing is, this seems to be totally made up.
The closest date we could come up with, for this celebration, was Feb.1, the day Khomeini returned to Iran from exile. So, it's been speculated that today was chosen by the organizer, because it's a Sunday. But there is no official Feb 6th, Death to America Day. (As I'm sure you're relieved to hear, since you didn't send out any cards)

We need wanted posters with generous bounties for jihadist imams, mullahs and ayatollas. And we need a benefactor with deept pockets.
