My finger goes into pointy mode.A year or two ago I had a trigger finger. A cortisone shot in the palm side of the knuckle cured that. It was my middle finger. It would get stuck closed and, when it came unstuck, it would briskly stand to attention. Glad that's over.

Good afternoon, pelikan. Finishing up some must do chores, and Sausage and Egg Casserole mixed and in the fridge to cook tonight (I forgot to make it last night to sit overnight).

Isn't the miracle of technology cool? Half a world and the International Dateline away and we can literally talk about what's happening on TV as it happens!

Whirling, whirling in the night
spinning, spinning like a top
her long hair sweeping out oer her shoulder
like a cape the poet dances one last fling
on sand beaches and star fill nights love
on the wing and lust in the wind
Like a banshee left to howl on soggy bogs
she rests a while to contemplate the emptiness
within between the bones, sinew, and skin
Dawn dances on the horizon now and the dancer
must enfold her capes and hair and recede back in
for day is not her time to dance and set out to rhyme
Slowly her colors fade and like a ghost her face is laid
in dark clouds to hide til night when again she is freed
for flight....
and the joy of dancing light.
