That's an imposter impersonating Popeye.

I followed the original Popeye's career from its inception in 1929. I never did decipher who Swee'pea's mama was.

Although Olive Oyl was his regular sqeeze, I always thought Popeye maybe had a thing for Sea Hag.

Bluto was a latecomer; a movie cartoon character. Not worthy of discussion.

And the Jeep was something of a mystery, too. He could appear and disappear at will. The WW2 Jeep was named after Popeye's Jeep. Don't think Popeye had a thing for his Jeep, though.

Now Wimpy, who could consume an infinite number of hamburgers at one sitting -- I had my suspicions about Wimpy.

I think if they check the insulation in the California bungalow where Wimpy spent the remainder of his life as a has-been former cartoom actor there'd be a couple of grim surprises....

A close friend of my family was similar to Wimpy, at least in his general appearance, the way he moved around, and his enjoyment of food. He was also gay.

No question that Sea Hag is either a gay man in drag or a very large lesbian.
