Your fears are unfounded. You shouldn't believe everything you read in Salon. They're not quite as reliable as Dan Ra^ther.

I don't believe anything I read in Salon but since this was a satirical essay I didn't have to. It was funny and a good example of how innocent things can be twisted into a perversion by looking at them through modern jaundiced eyes.
