Good point unfortunately.

But I can't understand why you object to Oblongata remarks. There are people who want to come and people who will employ them. I think increasing the amount of allotted screened immigrants is preferable to the unknown, which leaves a big hole in our security.

LOL..and if u cant screen the ones that are flooding us now...how do propose to allot those that you will "SCREEN" to make to make it better?....(If u had a leaky gas tank..would knowing how much gas u were losing solve your problem??..)

You answered your own question. LOTS OF PEOPLE WANT TO COME.

Where does it end? We have legal immigration and that's good enough. Numbers larger than what we let in now make it impossible for the nowcomers to assimilate.

Do you know how to do long division? If not use a spreadsheet program on a computer.

Find out the annual amount of money the US Government can allocate to Health Services, etc. Take your population assumptions if you let all these wetbacks in, do the math.
