**The mirror would seems to be like the one referred to in I Corinthians 13:12: “For now we see through a glass, darkly…” in the King James Bible. Islam has a lot more to say about divorce, appropriate for a convoluted, legalist system.

Non sequitur? I'm sorry but you are going to have to explain this to me. I don't see what the Muhammadan teachings on divorce have to do with my post.

Islam is a distorted mirror image of Judaism and Christianity. So, institutions and behavior valued in the Judeo-Christian tradition appear in Islam as a distorted mirror image. Marital fidelity (one-man, one-women becoming one) is valued in in the Judeo-Christian tradition. In Islam, it's distorted to four wives, with no sex outside of marriage, except as allowed in Islam. Sort of a Kerry-esk "yes, BUT", mirror image of Christianity.

I'll bet you still don't understand what I've said.
