How and when is it exactly that the president has abandoned Taiwan? Cite an example. Denying weapons sales? No. Denying them our presence in their territorial waters? No. Denying them intelligence data? No. Calling on the ChiComs to stop placing missiles on the strait? Yes. Allowing high level contacts with Taiwanese defense officials and our DoD? Yes.

So let's hear your PROOF, not just your interpretation of diplomatic BS.

So let's hear your PROOF

As this article below states, Feb., 2002, Bush quoted as saying he adheres to the One China policy. When Bush "adheres" to the "One China" policy, it means that the U.S. backs the Chicoms and tells Taiwan that they can't seek their own independence.

Free Iraq--Enslave Taiwan?

Just Google and search for the following:

Bush One China policy

You will find plenty of other instances where Bush, Colin Powell and others in the administration stress that they back the "One China policy"--those are fancy words for "screw Taiwan".

Bush seeks freedom and liberty for nations, but when it comes to a threat by China and Russia, all of a sudden he no longer seeks freedom anymore.

Not only that, active duty congressional-level talks between politicians from both nations are commonplace. Taiwan even sent an active-duty high rankng government official to Bush's inaguration!
