Atlanta Ga--Macon Police are searching for an armed and dangerous man who abducted a 14-year-old girl.
Macon Police are searching for a 39-year-old Macon man that forced his way into the residence of 3004 Audubon Drive in the North Macon area.
Macon Police are looking for Michael Dewitt Hightower and 14-year-old Kendralyn Radford.
Kendarlyn Radford is described as a bi-racial 14-year-old female, 4 feet 8 inches in height, 120 pounds, brown eyes, and a birth mark on her left eye. Hightower took Kendralyn Radford in a 1997 White 4-door Chevrolet Lumina displaying Georgia tag 3899ASC.

Police there are asking people living in Camden County, Georgia and Nassau County, Florida to be on the lookout.

Hightower, who is married to Radford's biological mother, hit Hugh Hunnicutt, 80, in the back of the head and took his wallet and keys.
Hightower then forcibly removed the girl from the home and stole a car.
Investigators believe Hightower could be headed to Savannah, Atlanta or New York in the white 1997 Chevrolet Lumina he's accused of taking from the home. The Bibb County license plate number is ASC 3899. The car is described as being covered with tree sap, Hofmann said.
Hunnicutt was bleeding from the head when officers arrived, but police said they do not know what Hightower hit him with.
"We know he entered the house. We know he assaulted the elderly gentleman. We know he took the girl and we know he wasn't invited so we're going to treat it as a home invasion," Macon police Lt. D.D. Lamar said.
Investigators on the scene were dusting for fingerprints and taking photographs of blood-stained tiles in the front foyer of the house.
Although officers are not sure what the motive is for the kidnapping, Radford's biological mother, Tracy Hightower, filed for divorce from Hightower on Thursday, Macon police detective Cornelius Pendleton said.
"The adoptive mother seems to think she might be harmed due to the fact he hit the grandfather over the head," Patterson said.
Several Macon police cars swarmed the Radford's home off of Riverside Drive east of Interstate 75.
Once investigators learned the details of the kidnapping, they contacted the GBI to activate the statewide Levi's Call system.
The Georgia Emergency Management Agency then transmits a bulletin to broadcasters across the state.
Although investigators do not have a description of Radford's clothing, she is described as a mixed-race girl 4 feet 8 inches tall, 120 pounds with dark hair and brown eyes and a birth mark on her left eye. Hightower is 6 feet 3 inches tall, weighs about 180 pounds and has low cut black hair.

LOL -I always try to figure out why and what is the motivation in these type situations. It seems the why does not matter unless it involves a 'hate crime' and additional sentencing - LOL - they may just have love crimes soon with lesser sentences...

The vehicle is possibly covered in tree sap. The vehicle frequents the area of Forest Avenue and Third Avenue in Macon, but will possibly be traveling to the Atlanta and/or Savannah area.

Michael Dewitt Hightower is described as a black male, 6 feet 3 inches in height, 180 pounds, brown eyes, and low cut black hair. Hightower is the husband of Kendralyn Radford's biological mother. Hightower should be considered Armed and Dangerous. He is reported to be armed with a handgun.
