I agree, but we both know that women are just as guilty as men, if not more so, when it comes to overlooking unstable behavior in a significant other. The motivation for ignoring it may be different, but the results are often the same. I've known a lot of women that have held on to psycho men in the hope that their love will change them and they always end up paying for it in the end.

I had something similar happen to me, but wasn't arrested. I didn't date for about 5 years.

Interesting analogy!  Although Judge Thomas went through hell (a 'high tech lynching') today he sits on the nation's Supreme Court, is one of the most highly respected jurists in our nation's history, and had many supporters during his times of crisis.

The poor guys mentioned in this article, however, had zero support from anyone except relatives and had their lives destroyed by one crazy woman and a police department that believed her because she was pretty, and didn't do their work as a result.

There are some similarities, but I think that these guys had a whole lot worse experience than Judge Thomas.

Your right, there are phyco path men out there also, who have not learned the word " NO " and the term " IT"S OVER " and somehow imagine that the relationship will still be able to continue.
I saw a TV made movie about 10 years ago ( I don't remember the actors name , but, he also played a role as ELVIS ) and it showed how they meet, had their relationship, and then, how he started to abuse her, and beat her, and control her.
Later in the movie, it show him stomping on her head, and to be frank with you, it frighten me watching it on TV.
I think, this TV movie was a true story, the woman did survive her injury's.
But, I think, the crux of the issue here is those women who premeditate and deliberately FALSLY ACCUSE men of terrible crimes in which the men were Innocent ( but, not good judges of character of seeing how this woman's personality was ).
I am sure there are men also, who are like this, and the same rule and Justice should apply. One discussion that has not come up in this topic is ? please don't quote on me on this, but, I have heard in the news or reports , that in Gay relationships, this kind of of thing ( that happen in this case with this man and woman ) is even worse with Gay couples and more violent, than heterosexuals, is that true ? By the way, I think most men here on FR are not dogging all women, they are just against those women who have adopted the attitude and ideology of the feminist. Take care

It occurred to me how much different this story would've been if the guy she accused was Clintoon. It wouldn't be that much of a stretch, considering the whole country club angle, that it would've been possible for them to cross paths. Either way, how eager would the police have been to believe her then? And what would the MSMs' reaction been like? Imagine if Monica had this version of mental disorder (as opposed to the others that she has)....

Actually, there were several people, including a rape victim, who made allegations against Slick Willie.  They were either ignored, denigrated as trailer trash, had their careers destroyed or all three.  Very good point....justice is not exactly blind, is it?

Thanks, Stoat, you weasel. Things have definitely gotten better--for both me and the kids. It took four years of litigation hell in korrupt and inkompetent King Ko. to get where we are today. King Ko. korruption and inkompetence is not just konfined to the elektion department.

Non sequitur...why would your opinion of a crazy, evil person of a certain gender affect your vote for a genius of a coincident same gender?

In this case not at all....I merely wanted to assure folks that I wasn't down on ladies as a result of this and that the Rice / Coulter ticket still has my vote for 2008   :-)

When you're dealing with something as deeply intimate as a personal relationship, oftentimes logic falls by the wayside.  This is an awful story, but not so bad that it will keep me from being a Rice / Coulter sign-waver   :-)
