Yeah no helmet no insurance.
If you want to live like a Viking die like a Viking in a heroic blase of glory.
Just don't expect your fellow premiem payers to foot the bill for a life time in the vegetable patch.

Just don't expect your fellow premiem payers to foot the bill for a life time in the vegetable patch. That why in Texas we allow people to ride without a helmet but they have to carry an extra insurance policy so if something happens the state doesn't end up paying for years of medical care.

If you want to live like a Viking die like a Viking in a heroic blase of glory. I'm about as blase about glory as I can manage:
blase, bored uninterested because of frequent exposure or indulgence; "his blase indifference"; "a petulent blase air"; "the bored gaze of the successful film star"

"If you want to live like a Viking die like a Viking in a heroic blase of glory." You can wrap your entire body in Kevlar and foam peanuts but if you hit a car at 60 miles and hour while on a motorcycle you will most likely die, if you don't you will be hooked up to a life support machine the rest of your life.

I've got a better idea...all unhelmeted motorcycle riders should be DNR's....As in "Do Not Resuscitate"...Make them post it on their DL...
Works for me....

Fatalities are higher in states with mandatory helmet laws. The "studies" that claim the opposite use biased sampling techniques. You can find the real statistics, based on actual total numbers here:

Disabling injuries that require long term care are higher among those who wear helmets. An accident that would have killed a person without a helmet, may leave that person a quadraplegic with a helmet.
If you're really concerned about the insurance premiums, ban helmet use!
