Bigfoot 911 call The Bigfoot Field Researchers Organization has a recording online of a pretty weird 911 call made during the 1990s in Kitsap Peninsula, Washington:
Thanks for the ping back to this post. I forgot about it, but enjoyed reading all the posts again. I also am open to the idea of a larger primate still undiscovered out there. The sightings are too many with the same descriptions from a vast array of geographical locations. Reinhold Messners' book "MY Search for the Yeti" is a good read and there are a lot of great websites with up to date sightings and videos. There is a couple of really good videos worth looking at. They don't make the news unless it is a slow news day. But pretty convincing none the less. What amazes me is the human reactions heard on some of the videos and in written form. Freepmail me if you would like to discuss this topic more and share websites, books and info.

I agree with your assesment of first hand accounts. The one that are not publicized but down to earth folks who have seen or heard something are the ones that interest me the most. Not the sensational ones. I'd love to have you send me some of the posts you frequent to see if I am missing any of the better ones.
I still think Mel's Hole was the funniest episode on Art Bell....ever
There are many Bigfoot sites on the web, and many of them are quite embarrassing for any one who's a serious Bigfoot investigator, and has their head screwed on straight. Bigfoot, if he exist, did not step out of a time-space continuum, was not beamed down from a space ship, and does not have supernatural powers. Animal, pure and simple. So after weeding out all of those web sites, I find the three below to be my favorites
BFRO - has a great sighting database. They do their best to weed out phony reports and the nuts by interviewing the people before they post the encounter. I have met several member of BFRO and they do a professional job.

Big Foot Forum - I enjoy this forum. Great site for breaking news on Bigfoot. Kind of the freerepublic of the Bigfoot world.

Oregon Bigfoot - Another professional group. Filmed the Out Door Life Channel series on Bigfoot. They also have links to Bigfoot vocalizations.

I also listened to the Coast to Coast show last night. This new film story is getting around. I hope there is something to it, and not just another piece of inconclusive blurry film. Coast to Coast is fun to listen to, but I only take about 10% of it seriously. Last night show was an exception.
Thanks for the websites. I also listen to C2C and last nights show was good. I was thinking that you might get to it also. I recognize a couple of the websites you sent but there is one for sure that i hadn't seen.
Interesting links on this thread. You know, I want to believe but....all this time.....and he's so big.....and not one bone.....
I have GOT to hear this call. Where can I find the audio?
Michael Moore was my first thought.
Except the thing probably smelled better. . .
(Sorry, mom. If you can't say anything night about someone, don't say anything at all.)
Not the Bigfoot one, the one Ben and Chad are talkin' about.
Oops! Sorry.
The Bigfoot call creeped me out. That caller was clearly seeing something he'd never seen before. I grew up around men like him, and they don't rattle easily.
That is a great point about the bones, but hear me out on this theory. If they are a higher primate and they travel in small bands then it would seem that they take care of their deceased. Relative to the size of the wilderness and the limited exploration of it by humans, juxtaposed with the relativelty few numbers of said primates, i am not lost on the idea completely that we haven't found any bones. Just a thought.
I wish I knew. Heard it years ago on the "Robert W. Morgan Show" (morning drive time radio -- KRTH in L.A.)
Morgan has since passed away.
Anything's possible, but it seems mighty unlikely.
That pretty much sums it up... :o)
Some of the tales recounted by ex-Air Force personnel are pretty chilling. Seems that out west on the AFBs (Edwards and Beale in particular), many a Sasquatch would come onto the base's open areas where they were easily observed.
