Great report sounds as though you had a wonderful day. I always think going to something live is so much better than watching it on TV. I know with sporting events you may not be able to see as well but you cannot beat the atmosphere of actually attending and also you get to see the overall visual impact rather than the selected view shown on TV.

It must have been wonderful to see AF1 sorry you did not get a better look at it.

Regarding your photos though they may not be as good as the professional ones I am certain to you they are much more precious as they are yours and will be a memento of a great day.

It was great that you could take your 2 children with you that will have been a great experience for them.

There was a magic in the air you just don't feel unless it's a live event. And yes, the pictures are a great momento! They're going to be fun scrapbook pages to put together. Pages for my book and each of the kids'.

The kids learned many lessons, in "real life"--we talked about the protesters, and how that was an American right and that in Iraq they would have been (in the past) dragged away and killed for doing that against Saddaam.

Learning those lessons in "real life" is much more vivid than just reading about them!
