Don't know about "new election".....think they'll be doing "discovery" about fraudulent voting first...and then it'll probably get sent upwards on appeal....but, I'm thinking this judge will expedite things....he's known to be a VERY GOOD judge!

I guess it's all going to come down to the state Supreme Court.

I was very happy to hear that the Rossi case has Bush-Gore 14th Amendment Equal Protection claims in it, referring to the different standards and changing standards of canvassing, recanvassing and enhancing ballots among counties.

So knowing there are federal jurisdiction issues built into the case will hopefully bring pressure to bear on state supreme democrats when they get the case, and they will get the case for certain.

Thinking ahead, the case may do well to get out of Chelan court sooner than later, get to the state supreme court and see what happens before getting it bumped up to the fed level.

With high likelihood the state supreme democrats will side with Gregoire. But we don't want them to run out the clock before going to the fed courts so that it will be too late to include a revote during the already scheduled state special election in April.

Whether the pubbies win or lose in Chelan, they need to get out of the state supreme court appeal as fast as possible by almost engineering a failure at that level, then get to fed court with the 14th Amendment provisions.

Of course I could be shocked and see the state supremes side with Rossi. Yeah, I could also win the lottery.

I'd be stunned if any of the federal courts touched this.

Very good preliminary news out of Chelan County Superior Court. The news reports show that the Judge tossed out Democrat motions to dismiss or to move jurisdiction directly to the WA State Supreme Court. Hopefully additional positive rulings will come down this afternoon.
