Narrow but decisive? Are we going to hear this for four years?

Could someone do a Lexis/Nexis scan and tell me how many times the Gray Lady prefaced a Clinton SOTU speech with "fortified by his victory by less significantly less than 50% of the electorate."

We should be surprised they even used the word "decisive".

Interesting. More people voted against 42 than for him and yet he had a "mandate". No bias here ;)

The Allies had a narrow but decisive victory over the Nazis and the Japanese in WWII.

Conceptually, I'd feel that the "Narrow but decisive" criticism would be justifiable..................................if the Dems hadn't lost another handful of Congressional seats.

But given that even the Senate Minority Leader had his ass handed to him, "Narrow but decisive" is a true statement.

NYT, where a "mandate" == a "hand date"

We should be grateful they didn't use the words, contested and probably stolen, election.

They should be using those words when reporting the Washington governor's race.

This is what happens when you hang out with "the ends justifies the means" crowd. When they say "hear", they really mean "obey".

I think the most amazing thing is that they geniunely believed that most Americans agree with them.

-The president went into the speech fortified by his narrow but decisive victory over SENATOR JOHN KERRY in November-

The election is over, folks, but the Olde Media dogs can't help but to look for an opportunity to insert Cash-and-Kerry somewhere. I thought I wouldn't have to look at Lurch's face or hear his preposterous prententious voice any more, but they stick him on the air as their Second President so much, I think I shall be sick.

Washington governor's race?????????????

Just kidding. I remember when her heinous was on the floor of the senate trashing the Ohio vote count and saying she would be saying the sme things if it ws the other party involved.

That she stands there and lies and lies and lies is despicable.

The MSM world is getting smaller and smaller. Thanks to talk radio, but first and foremost, thanks to the pajama people.
