Hmmm... we just moved cross-country in a Penske truck. We were required to stop at every weigh station upon entering a new state. The clerk at the rental place was very clear in her statement to us that if we don't stop - they (State Cops?) will stop us! (We only had to stop at two because it was over Christmas and several were closed, but they only glanced at the paperwork and waved us through.) I'm betting they might be doing more checks on Penske trucks now...

Just goes to show you that no matter how many laws and regulations are on the books, it's not going to make a whole H*ll of a lot of difference if someone really wanted to hurt us... Glad this was a replica and not the real thing.
