Ok..if you put it that way then I will have to agree. I understand when people do all that hello/kissing stuff with men from other countries but this one just caught me off guard. It's cool.
That's not tongue - that's pastrami!
ROTFLMBO! That's a good one "gator", but on the serious side, Joe Lieberman is one of only a handful of Dems I like. Wouldn't it be great if he crossed the aisle? I doubt he ever would, but I can dream, can't I? *~*
Hey, I tried to find tongue! I really did!
You try to google up tongue sandwich pictures and see what you find!
Make sure your kids aren't around.
Trust me: What you'll find ain't Kosher!
HEY!
You're supposed to use $$ instead of ss. :-)
"restoration to their senses"
ROTFLOL!! That's good!
Agreed Cinnamongirl!!! I wonder sometimes by the comments these Freepers make if they are just closet DU's!!!!!!.......pigstyle comments for sure. Once and for all....BUSH was warm and kissed LIBERMAN in a fashion that would have acknowledged his Jewish FAITH!!!!!
EWWWWWWWWWW!
Exactly....Bush does NOT go around kissing men, not at least in such a "public" way (I've only seen this before with family)...he knew the whole world was watching. Those closest to see were the very Rats who are most obstructing his policies. Even though Kerry wasn't there...undoubtedly he was watching. And because this simply was not a "customary gesture" by Bush (it did catch you off guard, it isn't "habitual," it wasn't "expected"), there had to be a reason, besides the obvious, for Bush's display of affection to Lieberman...done at his SOTUS....he's sending a message.
I was saying during the primaries how I thought Lieberman was the only one of them that made sense to me.
I believe he was talking directly into his ear.
As others have said, he's affectionate, he's comfortable with who he is, and he REALLY appreciates how steadfast Joe's support has been on everything that counts.
As far as I'm concerned, Lieberman has completely redeemed himself for his aberrant behavior when he was running for VP. He's back to being who he really is.
(And he'd better watch his back because there are some really evil people in his party).
"In another "did you catch it moment", did you notice the texture of San Fran Nan's skin between her cleavage? It looked reptilian in nature, like, underneath, she's covered in scales!"
Steven W. - We Are Watching You! We of the Draconian Empire have long sequestered our agents among you here on Earth, infiltrating out way into your daily lives and even unto the seats of power in your congress.
Take no comfort in your alliances with the Pleiadens, or those Greys from Zeta Reticulii, or even your Wackos in Tinfoil Hats - they are no match for our Reptilian Legions of Doom. Our Warriors are expert at shooting a fleeing enemy in the butt, drowning unsuspecting wenches in auto accidents, engaging in polemic vitriol and demagoguery and awarding themselves medals.
You have been warned!
"Hump? What hump?"
Had he been nominated, though, Joe probably wouldn't have won. There being no enthusiasm for him among the Democrat crazies, millions more would have defected and voted for Nader.
On the other hand, Joe might've collected some RINO voters, himself. And, without Jean Francois on the ticket, it would've been a little harder to work the GOP GOTV campaign into a fever pitch.
O.K., maybe it would have been a closer race...
Doesn't surprise me at all. Unlike the useless and insincere blather most Democrats put out there to get a media advantage of some sort, Joe Lieberman actually seems to be genuinely extending the olive branch of bi-partisanship to the President.
Between this and his votes on Condi and Alberto, I'm beginning to wonder. You know, I think a man as liberal as Joe on most social and domestic issues and as tough on foreign policy he is could successfully run for election as a Republican in generally liberal Connecticut. Maybe the RNC should start pitching woo, if you know what I mean.
If "they" are saying that, then "they".........whoever they are.........are NUTS!
