where those returns came from.
Judging Iraq's election without this knowledge is like predicting the outcome of the U.S. Presidential election on the basis of Vermont's returns....

As I understand it, the main Shiite group is a coalition of parties, including both secular and religious parties, so it does not necessarily mean a religious gov't.

Depending on how many recounts Iraq schedules, I'm putting my money on Christine Gregoire to pull an upset. She's in fourth, so it's a longshot to pull this one out, but they're still counting Al-Keeng Province.
