There, that's better. :-)

I'd be worried if my girlfriend felt the earth move and I wasn't there. It's when you ARE there and the earth doesn't move that should worry you:-)

Notice the green shading on this map. The green signifies more a intense sensation of shaking than the location of the epicenter, the red star.

As of 8:00 a.m. 107 people have notified USGS that they felt the quake.

Thank you.... on the 2nd map I see that I am located at the 3:00 tip of the red star...out of the blue area. Interesting to be so close but not feel a thing!

Slept right through the thing. ....even though the epicenter was practically under my house. It would take at least a 5.0 to get my attention at that time of the morning.

Is anything less than a 5 even worth reporting?

In California, sometimes people are surprised by an intense yet small quake after earlier laughing off a larger quake.
It's partially due to depth, proximity to epicenter, composition of the ground, what kind of a quake it is, that is, what type of fault, etc.

Holy sh....
It appears I wasn't exaggerating about the epi being right under my house. The red star in the above map is actually covering my property.
