It does not always automatically reload a new version of a page on a website. I updated a site for a customer yesterday, and sent a e-mail telling them the updates were posted. She called and said she didn't see them when she went and visited. She had to hit reload on each page to get the new versions or manually clear her cache.
I checked the Firefox support forums and it is a known issue with it that is suppose to be fixed in the version after 1.0

The problem is IE is more tolerant of errors in CSS, than FF is. The moral of the story is make sure you have your CSS validated before deploying or you might get a nasty surprise when you try to pull up the web page using FF.
AKA: eXpect More Later!
CSS is the easiest and most likely of web standards to actually be implemented. There is no excuse for developing a new platform that doesn't conform to CSS1! The real irony is that the only compliant browser is IE 5... for Macs!
Stay off the porn sites, don't use file sharing clients like imesh, don't go to those sites that give you software serial key hacks, and don't do anything else on the web that you wouldn't want mom to see.
My experience is that FF is faster and I have had NO popups since I installed it and AdAware is finding far fewer bugs than it did with IE. With the availability of extensions there is NO downside to FF over IE. I do not use the mail program as I have long since moved all my email to the web because of the virus problems associated with Outlook. I have no inclination to move it back.

Don't knock it until you try it. It is definitely worthwhile.
And it is so easy, it isn't really a bother.
Are you talking about the User Agent Switcher?
>> "will FF switch the favs to THEIR system of storing them?" <<
Firefox imports them, and then manages them under the Firefox system (which is MUCH superior).
By the way, Firefox calls them "bookmarks".
Opera is better... MUCH better.
Nothing personal, but I have to believe you are mistaken. I've been using Firefox since the Beta and have yet to have any spyware at all. I can't believe that you picked up 30 infections in one hour when I have gotten zero in six months.
Yeah, very difficult to take that seriously. I've been using it since it was Firebird, 0.7 I believe, and had the exact opposite experience regarding. Almost no spyware -- so little over that period of time as to be negligible.

Ilike Opera, too, and use it sometimes but it has a couple of quirks that I can't get used to, like my page just disappearing at random moments and I can't get it back.
FF is now my default browser!
Hmm... haven't had that happen. Next time it does look under "Window" at the top... then highlight "Closed"... it should have a list of all closed windows/tabs... click on the one that went missing and it should come back.
Firefox is definitely a safer browser but when weighed against IE, the feature-set comes out about the same. I still prefer the current version of IE for general browsing because it properly implements kiosk mode but when I get serious with secure sites, I use Firefox.
