MEG, thank you for that post at 207. It looked to me like the chain was tangled on the clothes but Brit Hume said she had given the tags to the Iraqi lady.
Re whether or not Mrs. Norwood gave her son't dog tags to the Iraqi woman, I recorded the speech on two different stations in order to get the wides possible perspective. The chain of the dogtags somehow caught on the Iraqi woman's sleeve as the women concluded their embrace. They had to take a momen to disentangle the chain. Mrs. Norwood did not give her son's tags away. If she did so at all, it must have been later, off camera. But I don't think so.
