The Second Amendment protects our right to keep and bear arms, it doesn't say, "the citizens have a right to own hunting rifles only."

You are wrong to say that your rights are violated by the person who defends the U.S. Constitution, your right not to be shot in your neighborhood is violated by some miserable bastard or good for nothing who shoots you.

I don't think that people should be able to keep any weapon that they desire, but an Uzi is far from out of line with the idea that the citizens should have the right to protect themselves from whoever would do them harm, their own government or other citizens or aliens.
