This is in response to the continued court rulings against the life of Terri Schiavo, and the U.S. Supreme Court' s refusal to hear the case brought by Gov. Jeb Bush to defend the legitimacy of Terri' s Law.
The opinion is flawed and outrageous, and it has far reaching implications for the euthanasia movement nationwide.

PLEASE DEMAND A GRAND JURY INVESTIGATION IN THE SCHIAVO CASE!!!!!!!
ALSO A REAL KEY, NEW TALKING POINT: Terri was NEVER represented by counsel while
others decided to starve her to death. That's against Florida and U.S. law. Even
criminals on death row are entitled to legal counsel. BILL TO THE FLOOR TO
PROTECT TERRI AND FUTURE TERRI's. A NEW Bill 692 please!
"If the courts continue to rule that the governor and the legislative branch
have no input, then perhaps Bush should take Terri Schiavo into protective
custody under Florida Statute 415.1051."
(2) EMERGENCY PROTECTIVE SERVICES INTERVENTION.--If the department has
reasonable cause to believe that a vulnerable adult is suffering from abuse or
neglect that presents a risk of death or serious physical injury to the
vulnerable adult and that the vulnerable adult lacks the capacity to consent to
emergency protective services, the department may take action under this
subsection. If the vulnerable adult has the capacity to consent and refuses
consent to emergency protective services, emergency protective services may not
be provided.
No need to read Jeb's staff the section, but certainly, we can give them the
415.1051 and say it is in re: Emergency Protective Services Intervention.
A Governor has duties and powers. We must firmly but diplomatically ask Jeb Bush
to use them!

PLEASE TAKE TIME TO MAKE SOME CALLS ON BEHALF OF TERRI!!!! THE CALL YOU MAKE MAY
BE THE ONE THAT SAVES HER LIFE!!!!
Hey little demigod, you need to go and view the videos of Terri interacting with her family. NEXT THING YOU'LL PHILOSOPHIZE TO US IS THAT tERRI WOULD BE BETTER OFF IF SHE'D NEVER BEEN BORN. Aren't you just the most enlightened thing!
Incoherent due to frustration, I assume. "The government" is not sentencing her to death. If she is denied food, it is by default and neglect and failure to uphold the constitutional right to life on the part of certain civil servants.
If this is America, then you have the right to petition and protest. No, "the right" isn't quite accurate; you have the responsibility.
For example, you may organize a protest. You may stage a hunger strike. You may consider suing hospice if they prevent you from protecting Terri. Oh, you're too busy? Then what are you complaining about?
The cynical "welcome to America" is just too much to stomach. You are America. If you don't like America, start right there.
The husband may be a jerk, but you don't *know?* I really think you should read a little more before offering your opinion, and get all the facts.
BUMP!
first of all - no she cant recover.. secondly her husband has had an affair for a number of years and has had children with her. his only aim in this is 2 reasons. 1 to collect on life insurance. and 2 so he can marry this woman and look good in the eyes of the church ( til death do we part ) never mind the adultery and so his illegitmate children wont carry the title of " bastard " ... the parents just want to care for their daughter and want nothing from this man.. does the mother who bore her have no right????
Your tagline is so true. Go back in time to when this story unfolded and that conclusion is inescapable...that she is a possible witness to a crime - against her. Dr. Michael Baden made that plain long ago on Greta's show. Do you know if anyone is saying or writing this specific point to the Governor?
FREEPERS WE NEED TO STAY ON THOSE PHONES!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm upset that we're not hearing anything...

Excerpts of Michael Schiavo's July 27, 1992 Deposition
CIRCUIT COURT OF THE SIXTH JUDICIAL CIRCUIT
STATE OF FLORIDA IN AND FOR PINELLAS COUNTY
PROBATE DIVISION
CASE NO. 90-2908-GD3 January 24, 2000
BEFORE: GEORGE W. GREER Circuit Court Judge
PLACE: Clearwater Courthouse
Clearwater, FL 33756
Q Michael, tell me what occurred on
11 February 25, 1990.
12 A I got home late from work that night. I
13 came in the house. Terri woke up. She heard me.
14 I gave her a kiss good night. She gave me a kiss
15 good night. A few hours later, I was getting out
16 of bed for some reason and I heard this thud. So
17 I ran out into the hall and I found Terri on the
18 floor. I knelt down next to her and I turned her
19 over because she sort of fell on her face. On her
20 stomach and face.
21 I turned her over going, "Terri, Terri.
Terri ping!
If anyone would like to be added to or removed from my Terri ping list, please let me know by FReepmail!
Please read post 9. It will explain what you fail to grasp. http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/news/1334120/posts?page=9#9
You are mistaken that the only thing that would improve her condition is a miracle. There are plenty of therapies out there that would improve Terri's condition significantly, if they were only provided to her. Isn't one of the points of PT is to start working the muscles again to get them to start firing in the brain, so that they can begin to work together in sync? There are some very good new therapies out there.
Secondly, perhaps you misunderstand why God hasn't provided a 'miracle' for Terri as of yet. There could be other reasons why He chooses not to heal her at this point in time. One of those reasons could be so that the rest of us wake up and see how lousy our judicial and legislative systems work. We need to get the right laws in place so that this doesn't happen to others. We don't need any more Roe v. Wade mistakes, and maybe God is providing us an opportunity to stand up and speak out in defense of life.
U.S. Supreme Court Dropped the Ball.
Well then why can't everybody just wait for Mother Nature to take her? Or is Mother Nature too slow for you?
Not true.
So you don't beleive in protective rights? Terri has no protection against crimes against her because of government dereliction of duty to protect her citing the same rights afforded others. Therefore, the government is absolutely to blame for allowing these atrocities when they have laws in place to prevent and address it. We are absolutely right to blame the court system for attempting to murder Terri. Evidently you know nothing about this case.
There was news the other day and today about stem cells and creating neurons, etc. this Spyder's arguments are moot.
Please direct me to the Statute, Constitutional Amendment, or other authoratative document that grants Michael Schiavo or anyone else the right to commit murder. You keep saying that patients don't have the right to receive the treatment you want, but spouses and estranged spouses have the right to deny them life. Where are you getting this from?
Please Explain, what can be done by the Governor?
