SEN. KERRY: I lost, Tim, to an incumbent president by a closer margin than an incumbent president has ever won re-election before in the history of the country, and if you add up the popular vote in the battleground states, I won the popular vote in the battleground states by two percentage points. We just didn't distribute it correctly in Ohio.

John Kerry...........John Kerry..............John Kerry.
Nope, doesn't ring a bell.

Chances are you didn't know this smarmy piece of self aggrandizing liberal crap served in Vietnam. Further, he was in Cambodia on Xmas eve 1968 ... that memory indelibly seared into his mind.

Figures lie and liars figure....... The old cliche, attributed to lots of folks, including Mark Twain, is:
There are lies, damned lies and statistics!
To which I've always added "and presentation graphics, in descending order of believability."
And now we need to add something to the effect of "and the lowest of the low is anything to ever come from the mouth of a Democrat, and below that is John Kerry, breathing."

Indeed.
I think Kerry did pretty well in that Battleground state of Massachussets...
To: tellw
There are too many battle ground states on your list. I hardly think Arizona and Arkansas were considered 'battleground'.

He's a liar, and a stupid one at that. ---
You're so right, but a point to consider is that Russert didn't call him on it..... and it's the same old damn thing..... only a small amount of people know Kerry lied on that show....... people like you and me and other FReepers.
It's sickening, all their lies get a pass. Just wait 'til it's Hillary's turn! I don't know if I can take it!

Isn't there some kind of statute of limitations on being a sore loser?NO.
To: technomage
As with ANYTHING libs say, you have to ask what is the definition of Battleground States, or a better question: Senator sKerry, what ARE the Battleground states. How dare you question his patriotism!
To: tellw
I really think if a whole lot more people had voted for Kerry he would have won.....

Arizona was considered a battleground (they held one of the Presidential debates there). And Arkansas was considered a battleground given that it was Clinton's home state. Both of its Senators are Democrats as well.
The "battleground" states according to the major media organizations were here.

Russert NEVER calls them on anything. He just moves on to the next question and waits for the next lie to come out of their pie hole. You're right, it's sickening.

The ding dong really does ring the bell, he's just hidden away in side. Just a swinging and a dinging.

My back hurts really badly right now so I'll say it this way at this moment, I hate the old EFFIN media! I hate it more than anything else, because it really is not going anywhere any time soon enough!
I hate those 'base turds' because the help to keep much of the voters ignorant..... and, they do it on purpose. It's sickening!
