SAFE ZONES It is high time the moral framework of our society squarely confronts the deceptive propaganda that is being spread throughout our community regarding school safety for gay teens.

Okay, I say they get their "safe zones" but in return become fair game anywhere else. Anything outside the "safe zone" is a freebie. Deal?

A professor across the hall from my office at NYU has one of those safe zone stickers.
It certifies that [fill in the blank] has "information, sensitivity, and understanding of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender concerns," and that she has taken a course in these matters to achieve this certification.
Her office is, therefore, a "Safe Zone." But the hallway, I suppose, is a danger zone.

Statistics show that most offenses that are listed as "hate crimes" were for low-level offenses such as speech or verbal name calling (someones feelings being hurt) what generally would be referred to as "teasing?" Children"teasing" other children for various reasons(not threatening their lives) have always been part of "growing up" in a free society.Does incitement to suicide count as threatining another's life?

This is an excellent article.
It makes several claims. For example:
- Out of more than 18,000 homicides that year, only three were committed based on the victim's sexual orientation, a number representing less than .0002 percent of the total murders.
- Statistics show that most offenses that are listed as "hate crimes" were for low-level offenses such as speech or verbal name calling (someone's feelings being hurt) what generally would be referred to as "teasing?"
The article would certainly be more credible if these claims were backed by proof.
Jesse Dirkhising was killed in September, 1999. When was this article written? Apparently between Sep and Dec, 1999.

I agree totally. I guess the kids at recess can't play 'smear the queer' anymore, huh?

I do not condone violence, but if they want to be stupid and come up with safe zones, then I say everybody get stupid and respect "only" the safe zones. Kind of like the feminists calling for "Rape Free Zones" in college. Does that mean there "Free Rape Zones" in college? I really need to get my masters if this is the case. You wouldn't have to look too hard to find my ass on campus, I tell ya.

Homosexual Agenda Ping.
Excellent overview of "hate crimes", so-called "safe schools", various myths being presented by homosexual activists, and some useful facts/figures.
Keep it, save it, copy it, email it out.

Legal organizations in the U.S. are currently collecting date with the specific intention of financially assisting AIDS patients recover damages for the economic, physical and emotional damage they have experienced as a result of deliberate irresponsible advice. Buyer beware!
I would love to see these cases start popping up all over the country!! Tie up all their money so they can't fund their disgusting programs in our schools. These organization need to be "outed" as the deviant propaganda pigs that they are!
This article was written while Clinton was in office???
I still think Margaret Spelling should be bombarded with all this material. She stopped one video from being shown by PBS, maybe her new position will fire up Washington to stop a lot more of this vile culture dismantling! What adult do is one thing, but when it involves children, it is the governments business!

The sad thing is more kids get beat-up for being fat or class nerds. Should we give every so-called social outcast a "safe-zone?"
This is why I believe schools are doing much more harm to children than help. Liberals have created this artificial utopia within the walls of academia...that protect kids from every adversity in life. Instead of dealing with these realities, they are sheltered and pampered, never having to face these problems...ala crisis counselors, safe-zones, etc.
In return, we get a bunch of young adults who enter the work place unprepared for the reality of the real world. I firmly believe that this will result in greater work-place violence and conflict simply because these children have been pampered throughout their lives and won't have the ability to deal with adversity.

If you venture over to DU, you will see that we have a bunch of adults who were not yet ready to enter the electorate either. Like I said, anytime something gets a "whatever free" zone, then what ever should be a freebie everywhere else.

I think, in fact, that it's threatening (or at least has been) to conservative leaning teens who put socializing and impressing their peers behind academic achievement and good moral principles in their list of priorities.
