Search your memories ... do you remember the name of the lady who spoke at the hearings on Terri's Law, in tears, who said that the original intent of removing food and water was for the terminally ill, not someone in Terri's circumstance? I think, MarMema, she particularly struck you. Is she a Senator?

Congratulations Freepers!

But we still have our work cut out for us.

Call the legislators and tell them to support HR 701!!

And pray, pray and pray!

The news media elite is so dense and so lazy about getting their facts straight.

Thankfully, we have TheEmpreJournal.com Thank you Scoop1!!

I don't remember, but I did listen on the internet at the time. Is there a way to see a video of the session?

It must be on tape somewhere.

I've got MSNBC on, since they said they would cover the Schindler's press conference. I didn't see anything on Fox yet.

I'm struggling to remember, and I think she was a senator. I bet we could go through old Terri threads and find it. Not the whole transcript, but parts of it. It was so moving!

I believe that was the first person to speak at that incredible hearing. I thought it took place in the House. She was blonde and I will recognize her if I search through the list.....doing now....

pegita, I wasn't able to see the Florida legislature in action or any person testifying as to what the intent was re removal of food and water. I will try to find out information googling and let you know if I find out that woman's (senator?) name.
