I just called the White House comment line listed below. You actually get to speak to someone, it’s not just a recording. I was told that the calls do help and to get more people to call.

She need not ask twice. The White House asks, now let’s see to it that they receive - lots of calls!

When this issue first came up in 2003, I was the House Sponsor for the bill that has enabled Terri to continue to live and I am again actively involved with other legislators and attorneys as we look for a solution to Terri’s situation. Just called and yes, I talked to a REAL person who was very accomadating!!!! YOU ALL CALL!!!!!! FLOOD THOSE LINES with kind requests to our dear President Bush.

I called and got a lady that wasn't very talkative. I actually thought the phone went dead. When there was no response to Terri's Constitutional rights being violated, or the fact that she can be euthanised on hearsay alone, I finally told her my Mother is in an assisted living facility and had beaten cancer 12 years ago and been dclared cancer free. A hospice nurse called my sister to "make arrangements". My sister said "For what?" She was informed that my Mom has lung cancer. Sis said "Nope". The woman said "It's in her chart". My Sis hit the roof. My Mom has mild emphysema. Her cancer doctor says she's still cancer free. Sis never got to the bottom of what's going on. However, Mom's 78 and on Medicare. Candidate for euthanasia in Florida?

Anyway, I asked the WH operator/phone answering person "What in the world is going ON in Florida"? She finally spoke and said she'd pass my concerns on to the President.
