I will respond to that, even though I said I would not discuss the subject any longer on this thread, since you have levelled a charge against me. I am not an FR moderator, I have never been an FR moderator, I have never requested to be an FR moderator, nor have I ever been asked to be an FR moderator. Quite frankly, I don't have the patience or pain threshhold for the job, and would probably ban everyone but Dog Gone and Okie01 by the time I was done.
Having said that, I have a lot of respect for the moderators and JimRob for the job they do moderating this site. Their job is thankless. One only needs to look at the forum cesspools around the 'net to see what happens when there are not some set of rules for discourse on a forum. And there are a lot of maladjusted folks who scream about their First Amendment rights being violated because they cannot post what they want, where they want, whenever they want on FR ... all the while oblivous to the other section of the First Amendment that enumerates the right to freedom of association. They glom onto FR because they get visibility here - and then rip JimRob because the rules that have elevated FR to that level of visibility are too restrictive for them. 'nuff said.
