I'm the wrong guy to ping when such an argument is presented. "How can we sustain our operations if the sub-wage labor were taken from us?" gets zero sympathy from me - I want to know when the authorities will be there to pick the neo-slavers up for their deserved arrests and prosecutions. They are scum who'm I regard as no better than the Old South plantation owners.

Oh what the heck! Let's see what the supposedly "xenophobic, racist, Buchananites" have to say. Personally I feel these people are far more tolerent in their basic natures than those who keep casting those aspersions on them.

It's OK to agree with Buchanan on some issues and not others. He's a very intelligent and practical guy. Americans should be paid as much as it takes to do the work that is to be done. We don't need to bring in slave labor to do our dirty work. We just need to be paid what it's worth. To argue otherwise is anti-capitalist. People would come here by the millions, some to work for free, if we just would let them all in. Where does that end? Answer: it doesn't. Let's stop what we've started and put Americans back to work -- before it's too late.

When are we going to arrest the politicians ignoring and flaunting our laws. They belong in jail along with illegal employers.

Citizens are not allowed to pick and choose which laws they will obey and which they will break without punishment, why should those politicians that work for us, are paid by us, be allowed to ignore the law without doing time?
