WARNING: This is a high volume ping list
It's just not a celebration without gunfire and couple of innocent deaths.
Reminds me of the Mohammad al Dura shooting. The IDF was blamed when it was impossible for them to have done that shooting from the position they occupied.
Just like New Year's, the 4th of July, a birthday, an out-of-jail party, or any other party in Los Angeles.
What goes up...
Amazing that more arent killed.
I have always wondered about the mindset of these idiots that crank rounds up in the air, not giving a whit that what goes up must come down.
Her death was initially blamed on the IDF by PA and UN officials.
I KNEW IT!!! IT WAS THE JOOOOOSSSS!!!

At least my friends have sense enough to fire into the ground. That way the worst they do is bust open a buried sprinkler line.
The practice of bringing guns to a celebration in these places strikes me as something that qualifies for the Darwin awards.
The murdering palis have been killin' off their kind for decades and blaming it all on the IDF. Nothing has changed with these terrorists not even the truth.
Even is a lawless area such as Gaza, you can't ignore the laws of gravity.
And just why is that? Didn't use to be that way. About 10 years ago, here in the northern San Joaquin valley, the media begin to hype this type of celebration. So of course, now we have idiots celbrating that way here.
This never ceases to amaze me - where exactly do they think the bullets go when they shot them into the air? Somebody needs to buy these clowns some firecrackers. Maybe South of the Border can open a middle east branch [I wonder how many people get that reference :-) ]
You know why you do not see a picture of her? Because they did not have time to dress her up like a suicide bomber.
Of course, at 10 she *is* a bit old for that part but think of all the PR miles they could have gotten out of THAT one....
Has no one there heard of gravity?
The UN guy at the school said it was the IDF too. As usual.
One thing I wonder about is the line that celebratory gunfire is an ancient practice in that part of the world, and therefore OK.
But it can't be too ancient a practice, considering mass-produced military weapons were not widely available before mid-century.
So before that, did they go out and whip stones from slings into the air, or shoot arrows straight up, to celebrate weddings, funerals, births, etc?
Thank you
"Her death was initially blamed on the IDF by PA and UN officials."
I am surprised they changed their minds. Stupid people.
