LOL! The universal problem of trying to re-create your bad ID photo, rears its ugly head.

My favorite picture is the photo of the troops, smiling and laughing protecting that polling place.

My favorite and now my background screen for the week is the woman with the stained finger and the tear behind the veil.

At Michelle Malkin's blog there is a link to another blog which has used many of these photos, and others, for a three-minute slideshow set to Copland's FANFARE FOR THE COMMON MAN. Guaranteed to make the eyes water. Check it out.

Congratulation to the Iraqi people. Not just the ones in Iraq, but also to the ones who voted from many oversea locations. Many thanks to all the voters who turned out on election day. And most of all, many thanks to all those who died, especially those Ameican servicemen/women, who had given their lives to serve their country.
My last thoughts: Jesse Jackson just called the United Nations to complain that the voters in Iraq were disenfranchised, therefore there should be a REVOTE. The resons for that were as follow: Long voting lines (like in Ohio), not enough voting machines (like in Ohio), and voters were intimidated by terrorists, blah blah blah...
