Geez, not only do you buy French wine, but you bought it at Costco? Turn in your conservative credentials right now buster!
I'm an economic conservative and a Club for Growth member. I happen to be quite socially conservative, but you can't say pragmatically that drinking French wine from Costco has any measurable effect on the world. Boycotts are fine, but they are voluntary. I like French wine (and California wine for that matter). I live in Orange County, CA... "America's Most Republican County".
Costco gave a boatload of money to the DNC. So what? They also gave me a 2% rebate on everything I bought there. How many manufacturers, food producers and other goods represented there are Blue of Red? Who cares!? If you sell a product or a service that I want at a legally low cost, you will get my business. That's a free market and pure capitalism.
BTW, there are 2 Costco warehouses within 5 miles of my house (6 within 20 miles). The nearest Sam's Club (big RNC doner) is 20 miles away.
Just because someone doesn't boycott every liberal-supporting entity doesn't make them a bad conservative. I'm tired of fellow conservatives telling me what ketchup to eat, what toothpaste to use and where I can shop. Do you really want to reinforce the taliban-nazi stereotypes heaped on us by the other side?
