I see you are Norwegian.
My father "God rest his sole" used to have a saying that his father used to say. Ten thousand Swedes ran through the weeds chased by one Norwegian.
What pray tell is the organ of that?

Ten thousand Swedes ran through the weeds
Chased by one Norwegian
He smelled so bad
They choked and gagged
And quickly left the region
My version. Original, IIRC, from Charles Henrickson.

"My father ... used to have a saying that his father used to say. Ten thousand Swedes ran through the weeds chased by one Norwegian. What pray tell is the organ of that?"Well, let's see, "Norwegian" means "Norse" as in Norsemen...
You only have to know a couple of Swedes (the ones who live there, not Swedish-American) to understand the rest.
And, no I am neither of the above but some Norse-guy probably owned some of my relatives at one time.

I have NO idea! I know the Norwegians have little or no use for Swedes for reasons that reach back into the ages, so I assume it's origin is hundreds of years old. Mom always quoted that, too! Funny.
