WHEN you heard about the stunning success of the Iraqi elections, were you thrilled? Did you see it as a triumph for democracy and for the armed forces of the United States that have sacrificed and suffered and fought so valiantly over the past 18 months to get Iraq to this moment?

Or did you momentarily feel an onrush of disappointment because you knew, you just knew, that this was going to redound to the credit of George W. Bush? This means you, Michael Moore. I'm talking to you, Teddy Kennedy.

And not just to the two of you, but to all those who follow in your train.

There are literally millions of Americans who are unhappy today because millions of Iraqis went to the polls yesterday. And why? Because this isn't just a success for Bush. It's a huge win. It's a colossal vindication.

It's a big fat gigantic winning vindication of the guy that the Moores and Kennedys and millions of others still can't believe anybody voted for.

And they know it.

And it's killing them.

[snip]

At the worst possible time to express pessimistic skepticism, Kerry did just that. The election only had a "kind of legitimacy," he said. He said he "was for the election taking place" (how big of him!), but then said that "it's gone as expected."

[snip]

Yesterday was a day for Democrats and opponents of George W. Bush to swallow their bile and retract their claws and join just for a moment in celebration of an amazing and thrilling human drama in a land that has seen more than its share of thrilling human drama over the past 5,000 years.

But you just couldn't do it, could you?

Losers.

Keep 'em coming. There needs to be a whole lotta this suckin' up to W's vision.

Now if some of the lefty rags would have a big headline in our favor it would start the boulder down the hill.

Michael Weisskopf of Time Magazine (no idea what his connection to the magazine is), Geraldo is talking to him, the moron actually said unfortunately there was no referendum on the ballot in Iraq asking if they are better off now with us there or under Saddam. These liberals are unbelievable, but not. Even Geraldo is dumbfounded that they don't get it from how he pauses with disappointment after their dumbass responses. I guess all the dancing in the streets and big smiles, or that one guy who raised his inked finger and said he is happy as hell, just isn't proof enough for these morons.

Nothing will be good enough for these liberals and you want to know why??

Because there is a Republican in the White House

That is how petty these people are

See my tagline

I keep getting this feeling like, nothing the MSM or the Demonrats can say or do will be able to undo the damage that they will have inflicted on themselves with their naysaying propaganda, if Bush succeeds in Iraq.

I just hope the Republicans are ruthless enough not to use the opportunity to "Reach Out, but rather to take advantage of the media's and the Demonrats' resulting weakness and vulnerability and stomp them mercilessly for what they've done.

Wow.

If you had told me a column like this would ever make the light of day a year ago, I would have laughed myself silly. I'd love to be the fly on the wall watching if they were to ever read this column

It was especially gloomy in Berkeley today, it was difficult not to smirk watching the poor, depressed Lefties trudging around town. Poor souls, they wanted a big party with a failed election, more dead Americans, and fireworks from terrorists, but all they got was an election with a bigger turnout than we had this year.

I'm sure they're all comiserating over soy lattes and bean curd, how DARE those Iraqis do something in their own self-interest? Don't they know the Berkeley Town Council has it all worked out for them? Don't they know they're too STUPID to take control of their own destiny?

So, I'll offer the Iraqis the sentiment the left refuses to: Welcome to the free world!

The Left, led by Jean Francois, sounds as bleak and hostile towards the breakout of freedom in Iraq as Iraq's terrorist insurgents and the Middle East's dictators and despots. This is what the Democratic Party has been reduced to: say NO to the permanent hopes of the human heart.

Denny Crane: "I want two things. First God and then Fox News."

TRUE TRUE TRUE

And I'm loving every moment of it. actually every moment since Nov. 2 8 PST !!!

And lets hope the DemoRATS keep talking down a event that hasn't happened in 5000 years , except twice in 1 year in two middle eastern countries ...You have got to love it.

And the author was very correct , the Rats could have came together in a bipartisan way and HONORED the Iraqi people and all that are troops have done.

Those Iraqis that voted today will be in there history books(and ours) in the years to come.

But can the dimwits from the other side stop hating . I swear the Democratic party is the party of Hate , hate America, hate , hate and more hate.

I can't wait tell midterm elections .
