Another uplifting cartoon from Aaron McGruder. Sorry can't post it for some reason, maybe the site doesn't allow direct links.

Wow, not only was it not funny, it was pessimistic and without any kind of insight. THIS guy is the cutting edge of political commentary?

Hilarious. Making fun of the Iraqi police for dying! That is some cutting-edge humor right there.

A black man works hard to get to the top of his profession just to be another lap dog for the du wing of the democratic party. Sad.

This guy must have been the source material for Dennis Leary's "A**hole Song"

"But sometimes that just ain't enough to keep a man like me interested. I gotta go out and have fun at someone else's expense..."

I wonder how he would react to a cartoon of a Freedom Marcher who answered a question with "I know it's a hopeless cause to try to win equal treatment, but I figured I'd go out and get rocks thrown at me."

Aaron McGruder:

I don't know about you but when I read "comics" I want to be amused. I don't want to delve into politics, race, abortion, guns, war in Iraq, etc. I want to be AMUSED, a la the Far Side.

Pissed off comics aren't funny.

He may not be funny, he may not be mildly amusing, but he is Black. So you can bet he wont get fired.
