I heard an interesting interview with an Iraqi woman..to para-phrase----she said the people are determined to vote regardless of the danger...people risk death every day just doing ordinary daily things in their lives, so the risk to vote is no greater.

What an inspiring account and topped off with that fabulous picture. I'm forwarding this to my Democrat friends. God bless George W. Bush!

And old baba boxeer will be testifying in congress that it is no democracy when people are inconvenienced enough to walk 45min. or an hour to stand in line for hours for the privilege of deciding their own future.

The MSM is going to go nuts...they wanted so bad to have this election go badly for the Iraqi's and Pres. Bush. Such a shame that the MSM/Dems cannot/will not allow the Iraqi's and their allies to celebrate a victory for Freedom.

A baptism of a lasting friendship and alliance, for many years to come, through thick and thin, we shall never forget the brave soldiers fallen while defending our freedom and futureBoy, from his lips to God's ears; but I have my concerns.
Hugh Hewitt was broadcasting from a voting location in California Friday. I heard oh, maybe 45-60 minutes of it. He spoke with a number of Iraqi's. Voter after voter said how great it was, how brave the Iraqi's are, how the Iraqi's have sacrificed, how happy they are.
NOT ONE of them (that I heard) said how great President Bush is, or how great the American troops are until the last one. He did, bless him.
Now, let me say, maybe I missed it. It is a three-hour show. But I heard what I heard. Hugh even asked one about their feelings about American troops staying or leaving, and the answer was in terms of "international coalition."
Now, I don't want to be mean or unfair, but are are some undeniables:
- The Iraqis did not free themselves. We did. And what's more...
- ... it was not an Iraqi who came up with the liberation plan: it was American President George W. Bush. And to add one more...
- ... no international coalition organized itself to liberate Iraq; President Bush organized an international coalition to liberate Iraq.
And he has taken a lot of heat for it, internationally and locally, and precious little credit.
I observe it to be a rule that foreign countries who benefit from our largesse as a rule are about as grateful as the ten lepers Jesus healed (read about it: Luke 17:11-19). It doesn't help that modest folks like W are reluctant to toot their own horn, and not great at promotion. So I fear that the knives are already being sharpened among SOME of our newly-liberated friends in Iraq, and choice portions of the collective American back are being targeted.

After this is over there will be no let up, they must be wiped out. It is our duty and the duty of every decent human to make sure this vermin is no more and that no more innocent decent people are victimized. Happy Wiping, with the blessings of every civilized person in the world!!!
My condolences to the Great American people for the tragic recent losses of soldiers. The blood of Iraqis and Americans is being shed on the soil of Mesopotamia; a baptism with blood. A baptism of a lasting friendship and alliance, for many years to come, through thick and thin, we shall never forget the brave soldiers fallen while defending our freedom and future.
I hope the soldiers know these sentiments!

our people who, armed only with faith and hope are going to the polls under the very real threats of being blown to pieces. These are the real braves; not the miserable creatures of hate who are attacking one of the noblest things that has ever happened to us
worth repeating.

We shall never forget the meanness of these bas
s. After this is over there will be no let up, they must be wiped out. It is our duty and the duty of every decent human to make sure this vermin is no more and that no more innocent decent people are victimized.
In a way, I think the partisan media shills do some good service by their anti-US slant and spin, because the people are not lulled into a false sense of security, which of course could be damaging.
And, everyone is aware that the results somehow never match the predictions and accusations -- case in point, that al-Jazeera covered the liberation of Iraq as if it were not succeeding, then was forced to broadcast the fall of the statue. The (formerly) MSM had the same problem, but had the good sense to switch to another load of crap after the statue fell. In those first few weeks, you probably remember, there were calls for Rumsfeld's head, that the US had insufficient force, blah blah blah, and then a couple of days after that drumbeat started, the statue fell.
Of course, we need to be the ones who write the history books, for a change. The leftist liars don't like history any more than Moslem fanatics do.

Iraq will be O.K. with so many brave people, it will certainly O.KYes it will. It certainly will.
God Bless our troops. With their sacrifice, they are saving lives everyday. And God Bless our President, who had the wisdom to know that from this crucible will be born a generation of peace.

These countries are members of the Coalition of the Willing. They provided troops and/or material support in Iraq. Many gave their lives to topple the regime of Sadam Hussein and bring this glorious moment of freedom to pass. God bless ALL of our troops, all of those who fought and bled and died for FREEDOM. God bless everyone who contributed in any way to bring this moment to the world and may He grant enduring freedom victory over terrorism
