I don't think they are confused. The war on Terror has always been a moving target and they will never acknowledge a success. Afghanistan was a quagmire and would never succeed. When that turned around Iraq became the hopeless mess.
Us Forces could never beat a strongly fortified Iraq.
Then that fell quickly.
US forces failed to protect an Iraqi National museum. Iraq collapses in chaos with massive looting of artifacts.
This was greatly exaggerated.
The US administration is blamed for the lack of infrastructure in Iraq. NOW its a massive human rights crisis.
Massive strides have been made in building and rebuilding Iraq's infrastructure.
Iraq is unable to have an election. There is no security and stability.
We have a successful election.

"Iraq is doing a better job than Palm Beach county did in Nov. 2000."
I agree. Also, the Iraqi ballot was much more complicated (IMO) than the Palm Beach ballot.

Then Tim pulled out a Form 180 and asked Kerry if he would sign one. Get OUT! That's like a reporter asking Clinton if he raped Juanita.

Oh my. On the last thread we all had fun re-living the Situation Room threads during Op Iraqi Freedom.
Now you remind me of our "protests" down in Florida! I'll never forget the media's faces when REPUBLICANS actually showed up with protest signs and sing-song chants. They were stuned! Actually, we called ourselves ReTHUGlicans after the MSM tried to portray us as scary ("Get out of Cheney's House!"). LOL!
But in the end most of the on-the-scene reporters smiled at the Sore Loserman posters and other funny signs. My, FR has established quite a history for itself.

All the great things are simple, and many can be expressed in a single word: freedom; justice; honor; duty; mercy; hope.

Re:
Unbelievable turnout by the brave women of Iraq. I'll be waiting for the National Organization of Women to hold a press conference expressing their solidarity with these brave Iraqi women and condemning the mullahs in Iran for subjugating half their population.

That's why the ACLU would never allow it. Actually wanting the number of votes to match the number of voters is discriminatory according to the left.

Today sends a message to the mullahs in Iran and baathists in Syria.
That muslims will come out in great numbers and vote and don't want dictatorial govt.s.

SUCCESS! Ain't it sweet?
After a noisier than usual day, it has now gotten quiet. The sun is setting on a newly liberated nation that exercised its freedom today.
I believe there is a lot of joy out there this evening.

Kerry is on Meet the Press Right now.
We dodged that bullet.
He is still talking about his four point plan for Iraq. Geez what a dink.

Who, with any patriotism in their heart, cannot be touched by the Iraqis turning out amid the danger? You just don't know how it has touched me.
