Well, gobs and gobs of Americans didn't show up to vote and not one talking head called that a failure.
And I'm wondering why the press and liberals are so obsessed with the Sunnis "not being involved," when they didn't seem to have the same thoughts when the so called Religious Right Wing of the GOP sat home in 2000.

Now they are showing a report from Remadia (sp?) about how no one showed up to vote for hours
Then reports only 10 people voted in total there
The General Downing (guest) is telling Chrissy that he is amazed that anyone voted in that place .. but what is more impressive is that there was no violence there

And I'm wondering why the press and liberals are so obsessed with the Sunnis I figure they just latch onto whatever the handiest spinnable angle is to undermine any success. The talking points memo definitely was sent out and Chrissy has been like a Tourette's Syndrome victim spitting out "the Sunnis" every two minutes for a good week now, so anxious was he to lead the "Sunni" parade.

I am just checking back in. I decided to lower my blood pressure by checking out items on ebay and watching a movie.
I see that Williams and Matthews are behaving predictably. Pfui.

Indeed, I will read Mo's updates and avoid getting upset on this fine Sunday so no MSNBC for me.
Thank you, Mo, for informing those of us taking a break from the spidiot. I watched his Sunday show and that more than filled my daily quota.

I just noticed on FoxNews one Dana Lewis. Is he THE Dana Lewis as in the Dana Lewis who finked on the American soldier for killing the wounded terrorist?

BTW Fox has been showing Geraldo's comments about the insurgency while viewing the body of a young woman who was killed by a suicide bomber. Say what you want about him, when he's right he's right. It was a powerful moment, wasn't it? I hope a lot of Americans who can't be bothered to vote saw that clip.
God rest her soul.

I have no idea. The only word that accurately describes this stuff is FLAILING. They have no coherent political philosophy because if they did they would be 100% behind the liberation of an enslaved people, who, no matter the final % of turnout, HAVE turned out in large numbers to vote for a new government. They toss in the oil comment because they think by using the old buzzwords again they can remind people of the "real" reason we went in, which is ludicrous and untrue...but they've got nothing else.

"In the controversial province of Kirkuk the Iraqi police and security were able to control the situation to a great extent. Nevertheless a blind bomb was able to kill one civilian. People I talked to from Kirkuk stated that the family of the innocent citizen insisted to vote before burying the body."
I saw this quote
over at NRO and had to share it. These people insisted on voting before tending to their dead. That is determination.

I could be wrong and need someone to back me up
But I think Chrissy, David Gregory and Dana Priest just insinuated that Bush will be buying a new Iraqi Government

A dumb, stupid, drunken frat boy is changing the world. The America-hating left will never give credit to the man they hate.
